Introduction
The ECITB Safety Passport Renewal course is a short refresher course that renews your CCNSG Safety Passport card, which is widely required to work on engineering construction sites in the UK.
The passport proves you understand basic site health and safety rules before entering industrial sites.
Who Should Attend?
The ECITB Safety Passport Renewal course is intended for candidates who already hold a CCNSG Safety Passport card. To take the renewal course, participants should still have a valid CCNSG Safety Passport and renew it shortly before it expires. If the passport has already expired, you will have to complete the full Safety Passport course again instead of the one-day renewal.
Certification and Career Benefits
On completion of the ECITB Safety Passport National course, candidates will leave with a temporary Safety Passport card which is valid for 6 weeks. The official Safety Passport card will be posted to the candidate’s home address 2-3 weeks after course completion.
The CCNSG Safety Passport card is valid for 3 years. Candidates must complete the CCNSG Safety Passport Renewal course prior to card expiry.
Assessment
Delegates complete multiple-choice examination throughout the course. The test is based on the course content covered throughout the training.
The assessment is timed and completed under exam conditions. Delegates must achieve the required pass mark to successfully obtain certification.
