Introduction
The CITB SSSTS Refresher 1-Day Course is designed for individuals who already hold a valid SSSTS certificate and need to renew their qualification before it expires.
This refresher course ensures that site supervisors and remain up to date with current health and safety legislation, industry best practice, and any regulatory changes affecting construction site supervision.
Who Should Attend?
This course is only for candidates who have completed the CITB Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS) 2-Day Course with certification still in date.
Participants should already have some experience in the construction industry and a basic understanding of site operations.
Certification and Career Benefits
The SSSTS certificate must be renewed every five years to remain valid. The refresher course ensures continued compliance and demonstrates ongoing competence in site safety management.
If certification expires, delegates may be required to complete the full SSSTS course again rather than the refresher.
Assessment
At the end of this 1-day course, delegates complete a multiple-choice examination. The test is based on the course content covered throughout the training.
The assessment is timed and completed under exam conditions. Delegates must achieve the required pass mark to successfully obtain certification.
