Introduction
The CITB SSSTS is a nationally recognised qualification designed for individuals working in a supervisory role within the construction industry.
The training is delivered over two days and covers the key principles of site supervision and health and safety management. It focuses on the supervisor’s role in maintaining safe working conditions, identifying hazards, and ensuring that workers follow safe systems of work.

Certification and Career Benefits
On successful completion, delegates receive an industry-recognised SSSTS certificate. The SSSTS certificate remains valid for five years. After this period, a refresher course is required to maintain certification.
Assessment
At the end of the course, delegates complete a multiple-choice examination. The assessment is based on the content covered during the training and is designed to confirm understanding of supervisory responsibilities and health and safety principles.
The test is completed under exam conditions and must be passed to achieve certification.
